General Terms of Sales
These General Terms of Sales apply between Tricotin.com SARL, called "Tricotin.com", registered in the Register of the French Commercial Businesses at the Greffe du Tribunal de Commerce of the city of Clamart under the siren (id) number: 478 149 685 its headquarters are based in Clamart - France, and every person who purchases a product on www.tricotin.com, called "the client".
All orders of any product sold via Tricotin.com implies the total acceptance of the present General Terms of Sales. This document cancels any other information found elsewhere.
Tricotin.com can modify or adapt at any time this document without notice.
Article 1 : Sales Terms
All orders will be invoiced at the conditions valid at the time of the order validation.
Tricotin.com' prices are subject to change without notice, according to changes in the sourcing/wholesale prices, especially when a supplier launches his yearly catalogue.
Tricotin.com’ prices are GST/VAT included.
Article 2 : Conditions to place an order
The client must be at least 18 years old and have the legal right to place an order on the internet.
Article 3 : Place an order
An order, once it has been placed, is irrevocable. It is binding the client
The client is responsible for the delivery details he provides. in case of a mistake, Tricotin.com cannot be hold responsible if the order cannot be delivered.
Article 4 : Color liability
Tricotin.com takes a very good care of photographing the products sold in its store and has a permanent goal of delivering the closest and most faithful colour on the client's computer screen without degrading the navigation speed. However, it is unfortunately impossible to guarantee that the client sees the exact same colour as there is as many ways of showing a colour as there are computer screens! If you have ever been in a TV store, you know that each screen shows a different image, some of them greener, some more red, some more blue, etc. It is the same thing for computer screens.
Special note for the hand dyed fibres and yarns: being dyed by small batch, you may consider each colour way as unique. One batch cannot be exactly the same as the other batch. Pictures are only a guide and Tricotin.com cannot guaranty the colours. If a client wishes to buy a very specific colour, hand dyed yarns might not be the right choice.
Article 5 : Delivery costs
In order to reduce the shipping cost for its clients, Tricotin.com proposes a fixed rate for shipping per delivery zone, whatever the parcel weight, except the very heavy products or large parcels like spinning wheels or weaving looms. There will be a small charge for those.
The total amount to be paid for shipping is clearly indicated once the client has entered her or his shipping address.
Article 6 : Shipping
Tricotin.com put all its energy in packing and shipping the order as quickly as possible.
The delivery length depends on the place where the product is stocked. Each delivery time is clearly indicated on each product page. Most products stocked in France will be delivered within 2 or 3 working days or less. All the products stocked outside France will be sent by the fastest mean of expedition. These delivery times are given for information purposes and cannot be guaranteed by Tricotin.com as some shipping or postal delays may occur.
Tricotin.com has developed an original concept: travel the World to find the most interesting products and chose partners who sell only the best quality. Some of them might ship their products to the clients straight from their workshop wherever in World. In this case the order might contain products sent from several places; the client might receive several parcels for her or his order.
Tricotin.com cannot be held responsible of the consequences dues to a delivery delay from the French or any other Post and any other carrier. A delay cannot justify the payment of any compensation or any discount or reimbursement of shipping costs or cannot be a reason for an order cancellation.
If a parcel does not reach the right address indicated by the client, a Postal Investigation will be carried out. It usually takes around a month. Tricotin.com will reimburse the client if the investigation proves that the Post or any other carrier has lost the parcel.
In case customs duties and GST/VAT is to be paid to the postman or delivery man/woman, if the client's address is in Metropolitan France, Tricotin.com will reimburse all these costs upon presentation of the original custom invoice with 30 business days after receiving the parcel. If the client is based outside France, these costs will not be reimbursed. Tricotin.com is not able to tell the client how much her/his Country's customs and state will invoice for GST/VAT and Customs.
Article 7 : Payments
Tricotin.com' invoice is to be paid when ordering and by credit card (Visa, MasterCard)
Tricotin.com uses one of the most secured payment system (Paybox) personal and credit card details are encrypted and protected.
All unpaid order du to an error or a fraudulent use of a credit card will be invoiced a fixed rate of 15 Euros.
Article 8 : Availability
The products sold on Tricotin.com' online catalogue have limited stocks.
Once an order is placed and in case Tricotin.com has a current stock unavailability, Tricotin.com will let the client know as soon as possible the delay expected.
In case of an exceptional stock shortage, Tricotin.com will contact the client by e-mail to offer her or him an immediate reimbursement or a similar product if she or he likes it :).
Article 9 : Satisfaction
The real obsession for Tricotin.com is its client's satisfaction. If the client do not wish to keep a product she or he has received from Tricotin.com, the client can send it back within 30 days of purchase.PLEASE NOTE! Contact us FIRST on our email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) before returning any parcel to send it back to the right address. Due to our many stocking facilities, each product has a return address. If the client sends the product to the wrong address, Tricotin.com will not be able to trace it and therefore, will not be able to reimburse the client..
The products returned, their packaging, box, instruction manual and everything that was delivered with it should be intact, unused and clean. All parcels will have to be returned with its packing list and if the client wishes, with the reason for the return (it might help Tricotin.com to get better!). The products returned incomplete, damaged, used or dirty will not be reimbursed.
After checking the good state of the returned product and its packaging, Tricotin.com will reimburse the client within 30 days, the whole amount paid by the client for the product returned, and will not reimburse the shipping costs.
After 30 days, the products received will be considered as accepted and up to the client's expectations. Reimbursement will not be possible.
Article 10 : Privacy Laws
According to the French Law regarding IT and Privacy "loi Informatique et libertés" from 6 August 2004", all member of Tricotin.com' community, client or visitor, may access at any time her or his details and may change or erase them. All the client needs to do is contact us by email at email@example.com
Article 11 : Force majeuree
Tricotin.com is relieved from its legal obligation to deliver a parcel in case of force majeure. For example, strikes, floods, fires, accidents, riots et wars, are cases of force majeure.
Tricotin.com has the right to cancel all or part of an order in case of a supplier's failure or force majeure.
Article 12 : Litigations
Claims or contestations will always be received benevolently, Tricotin.com has a very good and strong reputation as an excellent internet business, it considers the good-faith of its clients and believes that every problem can be solved easily

In case of a disagreement, le tribunal of Clamart - France will be the only court of competent jurisdiction.
