The time needed to deliver a parcel changes from a product to another as the parcels might be shipped from various stocking facilities (warehouses, craftsmen and craftswomen' workshops, artists’ studios, wood or textile manufacturers workshops). The "French" parcels are mostly sent in colissimo (48 business hours), it takes no more than 2/3 business days to reach you. The "Italian" parcels (Adriafil) will take around 8/15 business days (it is often quicker but we'd rather be pessimistic for you not to be disappointed!). The parcels from the USA, Canada, Switzerland, Australia or New-Zealand will reach a French address within around 5/20 business days by air freight.
You will be able to see where the parcels are from by reading the product page and you will also be able to know the average delivery time there too.
These delivery times are given to you as an information and might vary for reasons independent from Tricotin.com's doing.
NOMBER OF PARCELS
Tricotin.com has developed an original concept: travel the World to find for you the best, the top notch product and chose the best suppliers possible. Some of them ship your parcel straight from their workshop where they create the products for you. Therefore, you might receive several parcels for one order.
In order to reduce the shipping costs for its clients, Tricotin.com proposes a fixed shipping rate per delivery zones (see below). Whatever the number of parcel you will receive, you will only pay one fixed rate. Except of course the very heavy or voluminous products like Weaving looms or spinning wheels. But even for those, you will only be charged a very small part of the real cost.
To know the exact cost, all you need to do is add the products to your virtual basket and when your shipping address will be registered, you will always know how much the shipping will cost you wherever you are in the World.
As an example : if you live in Metropolitan France and you order standard products from 10 stocking facilities you will only pay 6,99 Euros, Tricotin.com will pay each workshop/warehouse/artist/craftsman the shipping for your 10 parcels.
The shipping cost will always be mentioned in your "basket" once you've filled your shipping address.
Now, we also give you the posssibility of checking your shipping cost before entering your shipping address, simply in your basket.
CUSTOMS AND VAT/GST (Metropolitan France)
Some products are sent from other countries than France (Majacraft, Ashford, Strauch) you might be asked by the postman or the delivery man to pay VAT/GST (19,6% of your invoice) and small customs fees upon delivery. In this case, and if the product has been delivered to you in Metropolitan France, Tricotin.com will reimburse via bank transfer the total amount of the customs/Poste invoice within 2 business days after Tricotin.com has received the original invoice and your bank details (all we need is your SWIFT/BIC and IBAN) by snail mail at:
Catherine Pallix - Colis

PLEASE NOTE !!!! this address is only dedicated to customs/VAT/GST reimbursement, if you need to send us anything else contact us by email first so that we can give you the proper address or your letter/parcel might get lost !!!
CUSTOMS AND VAT/GST (except Metropolitan France)
Tricotin.com will NOT reimburse the customs duties and GST/VAT for deliveries outside Metropolitan France.
